摘要:In this talk, the speaker shall discuss their recent research progress on three different but interestingly connected topics in wave scattering. They are the geometrical inverse problem of recovering the shape of a scatterer, independent of the content, by a minimal number of scattering measurements; the invisibility cloaking by regular mediums; and the geometric structures of transmission eigenfunction.
报告人简介:刘宏宇,香港浸会大学数学系副教授、副系主任,2017年Calderón奖获得者。国际权威期刊《Inverse Problems and Imaging》、《Journal of Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics》、《Contemporary Analysis and Applied Mathematics》编委。目前主要从事反问题与图像处理及相关领域的研究。在《SIAM J.Math. Anal》、《Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal》、《SIAM J. Sci. Comput》、《Journal of the European Mathematical Society》等国际一流期刊上发表论文八十余篇。
